Situated near the historic Werf area, breakfast is but a mere 5-minute stroll away. Take the scenic route through the Werf Food Garden or our herb garden and enjoy a harvest table feast at The Werf Restaurant. From here, you can join our Farm Tour and enjoy a leisurely walk around the farm, with our tour guides giving you all the inside info about what’s happening at Boschendal.
In the summertime, a lazy afternoon picnic in the Rose Garden is the perfect way to celebrate the sunshine and bask in the beauty of Boschendal. You can pop by the Cellar Door to taste and choose your favourite Boschendal wine. In the winter months, a glass of red wine is best enjoyed in front of the fireplace with your loved one. Add a cheese platter from the Farm Shop, and you’ve got yourself set up for a very cosy evening together.
For the more adventurous souls, you can rent a couple of mountain bikes and take on our world-class trails – luckily there are trails available for all levels. Why not pack a picnic basket with fresh farm produce and go for a hike to the nearest dam for an afternoon swim with a view. Or if you prefer, ride into the sunset on horseback and spend the evening wining and dining at The Werf Restaurant overlooking the Werf Food Garden.
