Runner
We are looking for Seasonal Runners to supports service staff by delivering food from the kitchen to tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with table maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient service.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Deliver food from kitchen to tables
• Clear and reset tables
• Support waitstaff during service
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas
• Assist with side duties and restocking
• Help with opening and closing procedures
• Respond quickly to staff and guest needs
• Follow service standards and protocols
• To deliver food from kitchen to tables promptly
• To clear and reset tables efficiently
• To maintain cleanliness of service stations
• To restock service items as needed
• To assist waitstaff during busy periods
• To support opening and closing procedures
• To follow established service protocols
• To maintain knowledge of table numbers and layout
• To communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
• To assist with side work as assigned
• To transport dishes carefully and safely
• To maintain professional appearance and demeanour
• To respond quickly to service needs
• To help maintain dining room appearance
• To support special events setup and service.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
• 0-1 year of restaurant experience
• Basic understanding of food service procedures
• Knowledge of proper carrying techniques
• Understanding of kitchen-to-table flow
• Physical stamina and agility
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Experience in fine dining or quality establishments
• Knowledge of food presentation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Team player mentality
