Barista/ Retail Assistant
As a Barista/Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepare and serve top-quality coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee station
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of beverages
- Operate coffee machines and grinders with expertise
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Ensure high levels of customer service
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Cleaning and hygiene : Maintain cleanliness of coffee stations ,ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Ensure consistency in the taste ,presentation and quality of beverages
- Report equipment issues , follow proper procedures for cleaning and maintaining all equipment used in the beverage preparation process
EXPERIENCE & QUALICATION:
- Previous experience as a barista or in Retail is preferred (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Passion for coffee and knowledge of different brewing techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenges effectively.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn
