The Revenue and Distribution Analyst is responsible for optimizing revenue performance through data-driven analysis, pricing strategies, and effective distribution channel management. This role supports the development and execution of revenue strategies by analysing market trends, forecasting demand, and ensuring optimal inventory allocation across all sales channels.  The role has a dual property responsibility overseeing the revenue and distribution analysis for both Boschendal and Dorp Hotel.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Manage, utilize, and maintain all available Distribution Channels, e.g. but not limited to KIP, PMS, SiteMinder or any other Channel Manager and OTAs extranet.
  • Ensure optimum display order of property on Brand.com and all OTAs.
  • Ensure coherency in Rates’ & inventory display cross all channels PMS, WEB, and OTAs
  • Manage Rate loading and connectivity in all available distribution channels.
  • Ensure that the accuracy of content / pictures is always up to date.
  • Assist in daily updates of the properties inventory in the relevant distribution channels based on the strategy decisions of the revenue team.
  • Assist in preparing the daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Complete weekly rate audit / shop across OTA platforms to ensure rate parity across all channels.
  • Communicate variances to the OTA’s to fix any discrepancies.
  • Complete a weekly shop of competitor availability and offers on various third-party distribution channels and brand websites
  • Assist in creating rate loading forms with for promotional offers
  • Assist in testing promotional packages in Brand.com by ensuring visibility online and accuracy of content when required.
  • Ensure available technology is fully understood according to property specific business mix and requirements.
  • Ensure full technical understanding and optimal use of all distribution channels, e.g. Mews, Semper, GDS, Pxier, Channel Management software, Central Systems, Tourplan and RMS
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align on business goals.
  • Participate in revenue meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

 

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Hotel Management Diploma
  • Must have a Driver’s License

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Applicant must have at least 2+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing analysis, or distribution (industry-specific experience preferred).
  • Must have Channel Management and/or PMS restriction and rate management experience.
  •  Recommended that applicant also has experience with Third Party website extranets.
  • Analytical skills / organisational skills / detail orientated
  • Administrative abilities / Strong communication skills
  • Computer skills (Excel, PMS, Web, SiteMinder) Self-motivated
  • Teamwork
  • Fast learning and ability to work under pressure.
